Direct messaging in Dottid helps you stay connected to your team and mitigates communication wait times to keep your deals moving.

Using the Chat Box

1. Click the chat icon in the bottom-left corner of any page in Dottid to open the direct message window.

2. To start a new chat, click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the chat box.

3. Either search for the contact or scroll to the contact you would like to message and click the blue + button next to the contacts name. This can be an individual or a group of team members who have access to Dottid.

4. You can then refer to the chat box to view a message thread, reply to an existing thread, or create a new message for quick collaboration with your team.


USER PERMISSIONS

Users who are invited to join a company in Dottid, at any permission level, can send and receive messages.


How to Create a Support Ticket

If support is needed for anything, please submit a support ticket. Include a brief note about the issue(s) and Select the Checkbox to Authorize Dottid Support to edit your Properties for 7 Days and click Submit.
