Creating Company and Property Task Templates

Streamline and centralize your task templates for your deals.

To Create a New Company Task Templates from the User Profile

See a full site wide list of all of your active Task Templates and create Company Task Templates in your User Profile.

1. Select your User Profile button in the bottom left-hand corner and then select "Task Templates" from the menu.

2. On this page, you can view the full list of Company Templates and Property Templates. To add new Company Task Templates, select the blue + Company Template button.


To Create a New Property Task Template

1. From the Properties Page, select a property.

2. Navigate to the Task Templates tab located near the top of the page.

3. Create a new property template by either creating a duplicate of an existing template or creating a new template by selecting the blue + Template button.


Editing a Property Task Template

1. Click on the template you want to edit.

2. Add a task to any deal stage by clicking the + Task button under each deal stage.

3. Click Save after you named your new task.

4. By clicking into the task, you can turn on Require Approvals, add a Description and click Save, or to delete the task by clicking the Delete Task button. Note these actions are dependent on your account Permission level. Additionally, you can drag and drop tasks to rearrange the order within each bucket or to move tasks from one bucket to another.


PRO TIP

Property Templates are specific to one property and can be exclusively shared with multiple selected properties.

Company Templates are site wide and will be automatically added as a template option on all New Deals and Properties in your global Dottid portfolio.


USER PERMISSIONS

Users with Admin and Maintainer property permissions can view, edit, add, delete, and share Task Templates.


How to Create a Support Ticket

If support is needed for anything, please submit a support ticket. Include a brief note about the issue(s) and Select the Checkbox to Authorize Dottid Support to edit your Properties for 7 Days and click Submit.
