Before adding a new property, make sure to add any new tags that you will need for the new property.

Adding a New Property

Before adding a new property, make sure to add any new tags that you will need for the new property. Click here to learn how to manage your tags in Dottid.

1. To add a new property to the platform, click on the Properties page on your left-side navigation and then click the blue + icon and select Add Property.

2. On the Add Property screen, you have the option to add a building photo by selecting + Add Photo and selecting a photo from your files.

3. Then fill out the required property information and any other information available and click Save. On the Changes to Billing pop-up click Add Property. You will see your new property under Property Overview.

Editing an Existing Property

1. To Edit property information for an existing property, navigate to the property and either click on pencil icon by the property name or click the ⋮ (three vertical dots) in the top right-hand corner and select Edit Property.

2. On this pane, fill out the property data and click Save.

How to Add Files to a Property

1. Additionally, on the Edit Property page you will have the option to Upload files that you wish to record with the property (I.e., the building rent roll, site plan, lease activity report, encumbrances, or debt). Click the + File icon and select your file(s). To upload multiple files hold down the Shift Key or Command Key and select multiple files to download. You can download the upload templates for Encumbrances and Debt from this page as well.

PRO TIP

You can only add Rent Roll, Stacking Plan, Lease Activity Report, & Encumbrance files when a property is unpublished. Debt files can be uploaded before and after a property is published.

4. After clicking save, you should see a green File Uploaded banner on the lower right-hand corner of the page to confirm your files have been uploaded.

5. To Edit files that have already been uploaded, click on the ⋮ (three vertical dots) next to the right of the specific files. Here you can rename the file, delete the file, or download the file. Once your changes have been made click Save.
