1. Once you fill out the upload template, for encumbrances or debt, navigate to the launchpad by clicking on the Dottid logo.
2. Click the green Upload Data card.
3. In the Upload Property Data modal, select your upload type. Then click to add or drag your completed template below. Click Upload.
4. You should receive a Green message in the bottom right-hand corner confirming the number of encumbrances or property loans uploaded. If you receive a Red message this indicates that revisions are needed in your template. Below is a list of possible error messages you may receive.
General Errors
Error Message | Description |
File extension must be ".csv" | Only a .csv file can be uploaded to Dottid |
File not found | No file for Dottid to pull info from. |
File is corrupted | Something is wrong with the file. |
(column) cannot be null or undefined | The column is empty and requires data. |
No csv results read | The file is blank. |
Encumbrance Errors
Error Message | Description |
Must use “Yes” or “No” | Column E can only be "Yes" or "No" |
No matching encumbrance type for (encumbrance type) | You must select an encumbrance type from the dropdown on the template. |
Debt Errors
Error Message | Description |
Must have floating index when rate type is Floating | Column I must be populated if Column H has "Floating" input. |
Must have interest rate spread when rate type is Floating | Column J must be populated with a percentage if Column H has "Floating" input. |
Must have fixed coupon rate when rate type is Fixed | Column N must be populated with a percentage if Column H has "Fixed" input. |
Must specify second extension option if specifying third | Columns AJ - AN can only be populated if Columns AE - AI are already populated. |
Must specify first extension option if specifying second | Columns AE - AI can only be populated if Columns Z - AD are already populated. |
Property with name (property name) not found in Dottid | The property listed in column A does not match a property listed in Dottid. |
