How to Inactivate, Activate, & Delete Deals

Easily delete or move your deals to an inactive status in Dottid

Mark Deals as Inactive

1. Navigate to the Deals page to view all of your In-Progress deals in the left-side navigation.

2. Click on a deal that you want to mark as inactive - then, Click the Active toggle located on the top right corner of the page.

3. Confirm that you would like to move this deal to an inactive status, then Click Yes.

4. Select the reason(s) you are inactivating the deal to officially move the deal to inactive. Click Submit.


PRO TIP

When marking a Deal as Inactive, the reason that you select for why a deal fell through will appear on your Inactive Deals and Inquiries Report


To Activate a Deal

1. Navigate to the Deals page - then, Click View By in the left-side navigation. Click Status.

2. You can view your deals under In-Progress, Inactive, and Completed deals. To view inactive deals, Click Inactive.

3. Click on the Inactive deal from the left-side navigation that you would like to reactivate.

4. Click the Inactive toggle located on the top right corner of the page.

5. Confirm that you would like to move this deal back to an active status and Click Yes.


Delete a Deal

1. Click on a deal to delete. Then, Click โ‹ฎ (three vertical dots) located on the top, right corner of the screen. Click Delete Deal.

2. A modal will pop up confirming that you want to delete the deal. To confirm click Delete Deal.

Note: Deleting a deal will remove any data associated with the deal from Dottid.


View Inactive Deals

1. Navigate to the Deals page - then, Click View By in the left-side navigation. Click Status.

2. Your deals should now be filtered by In-Progress, Inactive, and Completed. Click Inactive.

3. Click on an Inactive Deal from the left-side navigation to view historical data.


USER PERMISSIONS

Users at the Admin and Maintainer permission levels can mark a deal as inactive.

Users at the Admin permission level can delete a deal.


How to Create a Support Ticket

If support is needed for anything please submit a support ticket. Include a brief note about the issue(s) and Select the Checkbox to Authorize Dottid Support to edit your Properties for 7 Days and click Submit.
