To Require Approvals on a Task
1. Click your avatar in the bottom left corner of the page, then select Task Templates on the pop-up window.
2. Click into the specific company or property task template you want to add approvals to.
3. Click on a specific task to edit. From here, click the Require Approvals toggle to turn it on. Optionally, you can require up to three approvals on the task. Then, click Save.
To Submit a Task for Approval
1. Navigate to the Deals page, then click on a deal from the left-side navigation.
2. Locate the Tasks on the right side of your page. On the specific task that requires approval, click the Submit for Approval button. This will notify relevant team members that their approvals are required before a deliverable can be marked completed.
3. If the task approval is rejected, and you are ready to resubmit, click Resubmit for Approval button. This will notify relevant team members that their approvals are required on the resubmission.
To Approve a Task
1. Navigate to the Deals page, then click on a deal from the left-side navigation.
2. If authorized with the correct permissions, click the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down buttons to approve or reject any task that requires approvals. See more about User Permissions below.
USER PERMISSIONS
Users with Admin or Maintainer property permissions can require approvals for tasks in a property task template.
Only Company Admins can require approvals for tasks in a company task template.
Only users with Admin deal permissions can approve tasks in the deal checklist.
How to Create a Support Ticket
If support is needed for anything, please submit a support ticket. Include a brief note about the issue(s) and Select the Checkbox to Authorize Dottid Support to edit your Properties for 7 Days and click Submit.
