How to Add Encumbrances to Deal Terms

How to Add an Encumbrance

1. Navigate to the Deals page - then click on a deal from the left-side navigation.

2. Then navigate to the top of the workspace and click on the Deal Terms tab.

3. Once on the Deal Terms tab, click into the specific proposal you would like to add an Encumbrance to. Once you are in the detailed deal terms popup, scroll down to the Encumbrances box and click the "+" button to add an encumbrance.

4. Fill in the Encumbrance information for your deal. If your Encumbrance is an ongoing occurrence, click the ongoing checkbox. Once you have created all the necessary Encumbrances, click save at the top right of the page.

How to View Encumbrances on a Property

1. Navigate to the Properties Page and click on a property.

2. Once you are in the property, navigate to the Overview tab and select the Encumbrances section.

3. You will then be able to see a list of all the Encumbrances for the property. You can search for specific Tenants in the search bar or filter by Encumbrance type on the right of the page.


How to Create a Support Ticket

If support is needed for anything, please submit a support ticket. Include a brief note about the issue(s) and Select the Checkbox to Authorize Dottid Support to Edit Your Properties for 7 Days and click Submit.
