Connect to MRI in Dottid with these quick and easy steps!

Overview

MRI and DOTTID have developed a data integration that allows mutual customers to benefit from an easier setup as well as a faster rate of information in and out of our system. This integration allows for easier data transfer in the 3 areas:

  1. Prospect Data

  2. Availability Data

  3. Resident Data


Integration Setup

  1. Partner Connect Agreement

    1. You must have a MRI “Partner Connect” Agreement in place, this authorizes DOTTID to access the data. Please contact your MRI Account Executive in order to make sure this is in place

    2. In MRI’s integration Portal, be sure to select Dottid and subscribe to the integration package so that updates will be automatically included in your account.

  2. Prepare for Testing in Client's Test Database

    1. Please submit a support case via the myMRI Client Portal requesting the following Keys

      1. Template:

        Template Start

        Please create a Web Services User ID/Password for our integration with Dottid.

        Please apply the following cabinet(s) to our test database <enter database here>

        • Cabinet Location: (This Field will be filled in by MRI personnel once the case has been submitted)

        Please submit the support ticket in the form of the template above, with this list of APIs:

        • MRI_S-PMCM_AddLeaseOption

        • MRI_S-PMCM_CommercialBuildingByBLDGID

        • MRI_S-PMCM_CommercialLeasesCmreccByBuildingID

        • MRI_S-PMCM_CommercialLeasesLeasByBuildingID

        Please also provide the following information for the integration:

        1. API Farm URL

        2. Client ID

        3. Client Database Name

        4. Web Services User ID

        5. Web Services Password

        Template End

Master Occupant ID Settings Setup

  1. You will need to confirm that your MRI account has the Master Occupant ID setting turned on to "auto-generate."

  2. You can find this setting in MRI here:

    1. Setup > Setup and Maintenance > Management Options > Commercial Management > Autonumber Master Occupant ID

Inputting MRI Information into Dottid

  1. Once you have received the information requested above from MRI, log into Dottid and click on your avatar in the bottom left-hand side of the screen and click Settings.

  2. Now click on the Integrations tab and select MRI.

  3. Now Click Connect.

  4. You will now see the pop-up below. You will input the information you received from MRI into this modal as described below.

    1. MRI INFO --> Dottid

      1. API Farm URL -- > Web Domain

        1. The URL should end in "api.asp"

        2. If the URL ends in "?$api=" delete these characters before entering.

      2. Client ID -- > Client ID

      3. Client Database Name -- > Database Name

      4. Web Services User ID -- > Web Services Username

      5. Web Services Password -- > Web Services Password

  5. After filling in the information, click Connect and you will see the pop-up below. Click Next Steps and you have now completed the first step to connecting MRI to Dottid!

How to Create a Support Ticket

If support is needed for anything, please submit a support ticket. Include a brief note about the issue(s) and Select the Checkbox to Authorize Dottid Support to edit your Properties for 7 Days and click Submit.
