The MRI Integration performs a sync of data between your Dottid Account and your MRI Account on a daily basis so that your account information is accurate and up to date.
General Information about the Daily Sync:
The sync imports data from your MRI account to either create new data or to modify existing data in Dottid so that it matches your MRI account data.
The daily sync will primarily update or modify suites and deals in Dottid.
The sync runs at 7:15 AM Central Time every morning.
Your Global Settings need to be accurately populated in order for the sync to run.
If the Square Footage Type or Base Rent Category is missing or deleted, then the daily sync will be suspended and a notification will appear in the Action Needed page.
MRI Option Types, Lease Cost Types, and Lease Notes are not required to start a sync, but if any of those items were initially configured in Dottid and then subsequently deleted in your MRI account (under “Commercial Management Settings” and “Lookup List Maintenance”), then the daily sync will be suspended and a notification will appear in the Action Needed page.
If an MRI Building is unmatched or removed from the MRI account, then the daily sync will be suspended on that single property or properties. All other matched properties will continue to sync daily.
New properties in MRI are not automatically added to your Dottid account through this overnight sync. New properties will appear in the Property Settings page of the MRI integrations settings, and you must manually match/create new properties. Only properties that are matched on the Property Settings page will be captured in the overnight sync.
New deals that are completed in Dottid are exported to MRI instantly. These do not take place during the overnight deal sync.
Daily Sync: Suites
The daily sync will first check that all suites on a property are up to date, ensuring that the suite data in both platforms match.
NOTE: Once a Dottid property is matched to an MRI building with the integration, users can no longer add or delete suites nor edit suite floor numbers or square footage on Dottid rent rolls.
These are the actions it may perform:
Import Suites: The sync will import suites if they are missing in the Dottid property but existing in the MRI building.
The Activity Log in MRI settings will display “Suite(s) Imported” if new suites are created in Dottid.
Delete Suites: The sync will delete suites in Dottid if they don’t exist in MRI.
The Activity Log in MRI settings will display “Suite(s) Deleted” if suites are deleted in Dottid.
To add back a deleted suite, it must be added to the building in your MRI account and then imported at the next daily sync.
Floor Number Corrections: The sync will correct the floor number or the square footage of a suite in a Dottid building.
The Activity Log in MRI settings will display “Suite Details Updated” if modifications have been made to the suite in Dottid.
If the floor number of the suite in MRI has any other characters or letters, then the Dottid suite will not be updated to match.
Daily Sync: Deal Import
The daily sync will modify deals in Dottid and import deals to Dottid so that they match your MRI account information. The daily sync will modify and update the following deal terms on any deal:
Base rents in the rent schedule
Rent abatement in the rent schedule
Lease commencement date
Lease expiration date
Tenant improvement allowance
Encumbrances (Imported from either the Options or Lease Notes section of an MRI lease)
The sync will modify deal terms on the Dottid leases to match the deal terms found on the deal in MRI.
The sync will import entire leases on suites in Dottid properties if they don’t exist in Dottid.
Deal Export
When a new deal is completed in Dottid, it is instantly exported as a new lease to the corresponding property in MRI. It's important to note that deal exports occur immediately after a deal is finalized and do not take place during the overnight deal sync process. Once in MRI, the leases can be updated if needed and those edits will flow back into Dottid during the overnight sync as noted in step 1 of the Daily Sync: Deal Import section.
How to Create a Support Ticket
